We can certainly empathize with the passing of dear Darlene. My mother passed away on the 13th and her funeral is at the exact same time. We are sorry to miss it and send our love to Curg and the family.

Sorry to hear about the passing of the sweetest lady we have ever met. She was such a great inspiration to our family. Loved being around her because she was always positive and always made you feel loved. She had such a contagious smile. Even though we have not seen her in quite some time - since the moved to Utah. We have such fond memories of our time together in California. Will miss her dearly😘😢💕. Sending our love and prayers for the family left behind. Never easy to lose a loved one.♥️🙏

We are so sorry to hear of Darlene's passing! Our deepest sympathy goes out to her family and friends. My brother, Eric, and I spent many wonderful hours in the Johnson home as teenagers. Such fun, and such cherished memories! We will be unable to attend the service as we will be out of town, but our thoughts and prayers will be with the Johnson family. Love to all, Beth Granlund Anderson and Joyce Christian

Someone told me “as the sun sets in the horizon, so it rises in another.” I can only imagine how wonderful the reunion, a mother and her son; a daughter and her parents … family …. Forever remembered, with love and a smile. My sincere condolences to the family; she loved you all so very much; what a legacy she has left for you all to enjoy.

Darlene was like a favorite Aunt to many of us: welcoming, interested in your life, encouraging your pursuits and most of all loving you deeply. She was available to celebrate the good times and also be a support during the hard times with a listening ear, kind words and heart-felt honesty. Darlene loved to read, learn and ponder deep things. She was a real treasure.
We would visit yearly after Darlene & Curg moved from CA to Salt Lake—and now ponder those fond memories. We feel blessed to have had Darlene in our lives. May you as a family feel comforted.
