David Clark Evans, 73, of Lehi, UT passed away June 5th, 2023.

Dave was born August 9th, 1949 to Boise and Carole Evans in Lehi, UT. After Dave graduated from Lehi High School in 1967, he went on to study at Snow College, the University of Utah and State University of New York at Buffalo where he graduated with his PharmD in 1976.

Dave is survived by 5 siblings, his children Shand Evans, Alex Evans, his stepsons David and Joseph Clyde as well as 9 grandchildren and one Corgi named Keith. All of whom he loved unconditionally. Dave is preceded in death by his parents Boise and Carole Evans, his wife Mary Elizabeth Evans and Maggie Clyde (stepdaughter).

To say Dave Evans was passionate is an understatement. Whether it be scouting, bagpipes, friends or his family. Dave was all in, all of the time with everything and everyone he loved. Dave was proud of his accomplishments and had many, however he will be most remembered for how he was as a brother, husband, father, grandfather and friend.

If you knew Dave or would like to get to know him better through the people who loved him please be a part of the services held in his honor at 2PM on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at the Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary, 1950 E. Dimple Dell road (10600 S.) in Sandy, UT. Viewings for family and friends will be held on Friday evening from 6-8PM, and Saturday prior to services beginning at 1PM at the same location. Interment will follow in the Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery.

Guestbook/Condolences

So sorry to hear of the passing of Dave. We grew up in the same ward and received our Eagle Scout awards together with his Brother David Talyamtua (sorry for the poor spelling). We went on a West Canyon Cattle drive and were just good friends. Their family and ours were pretty close. Of course in Lehi if you get a divorce you are still cousins.
Love you buddy and condolances to all your family.

Our heartfelt condolences to Dave Evans' family. We appreciated his friendship and his willing helping hand with Kim working on our ranch with our cows.

May the Lord comfort you.

I’m so sorry to hear about Dave’s passing. He was the best of grandpas. Michael, Nathalie and I always enjoyed his amazing stories. He had quite a life, full of surprises for sure! He will be missed greatly. My condolences to Shand and Alex and the rest of the family.
