Obituary

David Brian Hansen was born on January 7, 1961, and made his home in Herriman, Utah. He passed away Friday, September 4th, surrounded by the family he loved more than anything.

David's greatest love story was with his wife, Julie Ann Hansen — the love of his life, and the center of his world for all their 45 years of marriage. Together they built a life rooted in family,

and there was nothing David valued more than his wife and children and grandchildren. He will be sorely missed by his many neighbors and friends as well.

An avid woodworker and handyman, David was always happiest with a project in hand — but his true passion was his family. He poured his heart into being a father and grandfather, and that love was returned many times over.

David is survived by his beloved wife, Julie Ann Hansen; his children, Summer Aubrey (Quinn), Parker Hansen (Katelyn), Tyler Hansen (Angie), and Paige Debry (Tyler); and his 10 grandchildren, who brought him immense joy. He is also survived by siblings, Gay Shaw, Mark Hansen, Michelle Stoppenhagen, Chris Hansen, Kim Hansen, Melody Hunsaker, and Scott Hansen.

David was preceded in death by his father, Dale O. Hansen; his mother, Bonnie D Hansen; his brothers, Michael, Kirk and Brett; and his sister, Deborah.

A viewing will be held on Friday, September 11, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Larkin Mortuary located at 3688 West 12600 South, Riverton, Utah This will be followed by a graveside service at 12:00 p.m. at the Herriman Cemetery, 12465 South Pioneer Street, Herriman, Utah.

David will be remembered for his devotion to his family, the projects he poured himself into, and the quiet love he showed every day.
