Dean “Dean-O” Bennett Robinson
It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Dean Robinson, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Dean left us peacefully on March 27, 2026, at the age of 71, surrounded by family and friends after a short battle with illness. Born on November 23, 1954, in the small, close-knit community of Delta, Utah, Dean's life was a testament to the strength of love, family, and friendship.
Dean was the cherished son of the late Grant and Ruth Robinson, and brother to his predeceased sister, Dawnell. He is survived by his loving daughter Ashley and her husband Mike, and his treasured grandsons, DJ and Andrew Nielsen. Dean also leaves behind his two devoted brothers, G. Raymond (Dorthey) and David G., along with his dear sister Ramona, all of whom he held close to his heart.
Dean spent many fulfilling years as a dental lab technician, a career he was passionate about and where he formed lasting relationships that he often referred to as his second family. His dedication and love for his work were matched only by his commitment to the people he served alongside. Even as he could have retired, Dean chose to continue working, driven by the joy it brought him and the bonds he cherished with his colleagues.
An avid fly fisherman and golfer, Dean found peace and joy in the simple pleasures of life. Whether casting a line on a serene river or perfecting his swing on the golf course, he embraced these moments with enthusiasm and gratitude. His Friday lunch dates with his daughter Ashley were a cherished tradition, a testament to the deep bond they shared.
Known for his quick wit and warm smile, Dean had a rare gift for brightening any room he entered. His jokes and lighthearted approach to life brought joy to all who knew him. Dean's kindness and generosity were boundless, touching countless lives and leaving a legacy of compassion and warmth.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Intermountain Hospital for their kindness and exceptional care during Dean's final days. Their support and compassion will always be remembered and appreciated.
Though a private graveside service will be held at Elysian Gardens, a celebration of Dean's life will take place at a later date, where family and friends can gather to honor his memory, share stories, and find comfort in the love and laughter he brought into their lives.
Dean Robinson's life was a tapestry woven with love, laughter, and enduring relationships. Though we mourn his passing, we celebrate the indelible mark he left on our hearts. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege to know him.
