Dennis Earl Reynolds, 60, of Herriman, Utah passed away October 27th, 2023.
Dennis was born in McMinnville, OR on June 24th, 1963 to his parents Dale Reynolds and Florence Ann Reynolds. With his first marriage he would have 3 kids. Later he was married to the love of his life, Jenny Reynolds, on September 10th, 2011 and then sealed on May 11th, 2013, adding 3 more kids.
Dennis, early on in life, knew he wanted to be semi-truck driver. He got his CDL and started his career in May of 1989. He began driving for USF Reddaway. Then continued with Line Haul National, Yellow/YRC, and finally ABF. He drove commercially for over 34 years. Though he loved his job, nothing brought him more joy than the happiness of his friends and family. Dennis always hosted family gatherings and get-togethers with friends. Seeing his loved ones with smiles on their face was his top priority. Dennis was a patriarch and loving provider of his family. He was a loving husband, great father, a caring sibling, a good uncle, amazing grandfather and loyal friend.
Dennis was someone who worked hard and then played hard. He loved adventure. One of the reasons he loved his jobs was all the places he got to see. Being from the Pacific Northwest he loved being on the water. Dennis would take any opportunity to share this passion with his family. Some of his favorite activities were boating, tubing, going to the beach, crabbing and deep-sea fishing. Dennis was someone that not only wanted to have fun, but saw the true beauty this world has to offer. Dennis is someone that can be described as a lover. He loved those around him and loved life.
He was a dedicated and faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He had a strong testimony and love for his savior and knew his family was eternal.
Dennis is survived by his wife, Jenny Reynolds, Mother, Florence Ann Reynolds, Children, Kori Butters, Kerrissa Eatchel (David), Erik Butters, Andrew Jacob Reynolds, James Dale Reynolds, Siblings, Doug Reynolds (Erin), Debra Stone, Daniel Reynolds, Diana Zimmerman (Doug).
He was proceeded in death by his father Dale Reynolds and his daughter Kristy Dyches.
Memorial services will held at 1PM on Friday, November 3, 2023 at the Butterfield Canyon 3rd Ward, 13768 South 6400 West in Herriman, Utah. A gathering time will be held prior to the services beginning at Noon. Innichement services will follow at the Murray City Cemetery.
