Arthur Harold Yeager

1942 ~ 2018

On the evening of Monday, May 21st, 2018, Arthur Harold Yeager (75) passed away valiantly surrounded by loved ones. He was born August 12, 1942, in Salt Lake City, Utah to goodly parents, Arthur L. and Florence Yeager, who preceded him in death. He always strived to honor them and sacrificed much to faithfully care for them during their later years. Early in life, Art and his parents moved to Logan. There he received the rank of Eagle Scout, graduated from Logan High and earned a BS in Business Education at Utah State.

He gave "loyal and dedicated service" to Mountain Fuel (Questar) for over 31 years. He worked diligently there as the Coordinator of Economic Development until his retirement in 1998. The highlight of his life was sharing his testimony of the Lord Jesus Christ with the people of the Irish Mission 1962-64, under the leadership of the late Stephen R. Covey. He was a world traveler, enjoyed good food and appreciated the beauties of nature.

He is survived by his two brothers, Stephen (Anita) and Kenneth (Linda) and half-sister Pat (George) Taylor; also by his three children, Jennifer (Larry) Thorpe, Jeff (Anjanette), and Paulette (Travis) Staley; and grandchildren, Austin, Logan, Maddison, Coleman, Daniel, Kaylie, and Peter.

The family would like to express heartfelt admiration and gratitude to Sharon Lawrence and her family for their love and friendship given to Art over the last 25 years. A big thank you to the capable staff of the Wentworth who consistently served him with the utmost care. Thanks also to the compassionate staff of the Brighton Hospice. Dad, until we meet again…
