Kevin Keith Peterson passed away unexpectedly in his home in the early morning hours of November 27th. He was 54 years young. Kevin was born September 6th 1961 to Keith and Irma Peterson in San Diego California. In 1971, Keith and Irma moved their three children, Scott, Julie and Kevin to Moab, Utah where Keith opened Peterson Ford. The Peterson family spent many, many years in Moab where Kevin attended Grand County High School. He went on to attend the University of Utah in Salt Lake City where he studied business and settled in to make his home. Anyone who knew Kevin on a personal level knew he had three passions in life. Family, golf, and football, a loyal Utes and Chargers fan through and through. He was best known for his dry sense of humor and quick wit.
He is survived by his wife Trisina Winn, his son Chris (Evette) Peterson, daughters Kylie Peterson and Kenzi Peterson, his sister Julie (Bob) Foley, and nephew Ryan West. He was preceded in death by his father Keith Peterson, mother Irma Peterson, and brother Scott Peterson.
There will be a memorial service held at the church he attended at South Mountain Community Church located at 14216 South Bangerter Parkway in Draper, Utah on Friday, December 4, 2015 beginning at 3:00 pm. The family would also like to extend an invitation following the memorial at Kevin and Trisina's home to celebrate and share stories of Kevin's life. Their home is located at 1043 East Straw Hat Lane, Draper, Utah 84020.
