Diana loved all, and she was loved by all who knew her. We are grateful that some of those loved ones met her in the next place. Diana is the daughter of Ken and Elaine Johnson. She is the sister of Rick Lane (Pat), Kathy Rivera (Jesse), Kenny Johnson, and Shelly Williams (Barry). She is the wife of Mike Bowcutt, the mom of Amber Jones (Tim) and Austin Bowcutt (Bekah), and the grandma of Teagan and Emorie Palmer, and Cali and Abel Uria. Diana is the aunt of Jesse Ray and Robert Rivera, Rick Lane Jr., Kathy Wyatt, Cheri Russell, Carly Crawford, Jessie Meza, and Shelby Draper. Diana was always grateful for her friendship with her best friend, Dee Abernethy Harrison.

Diana’s greatest joy was being a mom. She never missed a play, a concert, a game, or ANY activity that Amber or Austin (or ANY family member) was involved in. Diana was a Room Mother, a Scout Den Mother, chauffeur for the neighborhood kids…pretty much anything and everything asked of her to help make activities a success.

Diana was a hard worker and had a variety of jobs throughout her life, but the most rewarding was the twenty years she spent as a preschool teacher. Over the years, she taught hundreds of four and five year olds the basics and fundamentals that would help them be successful for the rest of their lives; things like colors and shapes, letters and numbers, manners, and self-confidence.

Diana’s award-winning imagination helped create unforgettable school projects and Halloween costumes. Her favorite holidays were Halloween and Christmas, but she strived to make all occasions extra special.

Family was the most important thing in her life. Diana had a heart of gold, a contagious laugh, and an unforgettable smile. All those who knew Diana will never forget the sweet and loving person she was and ALWAYS will be. It is our wish that you will take the time to leave a detailed memory or special thoughts about Diana on this memorial web page.

A private family celebration of Diana’s life will be held at a later date. Per Diana’s wishes, her cheerful daisy adorned urn will always be on the mantle at home if you ever need to talk to her.
