Deanne Stewart Orme graduated from mortality on August 24, 2015. Born November 29, 1942 in Provo, Utah, to Charles Wellington and Elsie Olson Stewart.
Survived by her high school sweetheart Fred, who she married on August 31, 1961, her children: Scott Fred (Sue), Michael Stuart, Michelle (Scott), Jennifer (Mitch), and Heather Marie (Richard) and her 14 grandchildren and 3 and æ great grandchildren.
Deanne loved family and learning which she voraciously pursued by reading, constantly taking on new hobbies, and travel. She visited all 7 continents, 49 of 50 states, and many countries. Sharing her passion for knowledge, she taught school for 18 years at Hillside Elementary in Granite School District and served in primary, young women, and relief society. President/Captain of the Mingo Camp of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers, she was proud of her Icelandic heritage.
Funeral services will be held Friday, August 28, 2015, at 12:00noon at LDS Chapel 8950 S. 400 E., Sandy, Utah. Visitation Thursday 6-8pm at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E. Dimple Dell Road and one hour prior to services at the ward. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in care of Cancer Bites at America First Credit Union.
