Our loving husband, father, and grandpa was called home on Sept. 24, 2016 following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born Nov. 12, 1957 in Murray, Ut to Walter H. "Frosty" Froisland, Jr. and Beverly Jeffries Froisland. He married Debbie Pullman, Feb. 23, 1975 and later solemnized in the Oquirrh Mountain Temple on June 4, 2011.
He owned and operated a successful drywall business for 27 years and was currently serving as a Correctional Officer for the Salt Lake County Sheriff's Office, a job he truly loved. In his free time he loved to be outdoors, golfing, working in the yard, and being "Mr. Fix-it", but most of all he loved his family and spending time with the apples of his eye, his grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years; son, Bret (Shannon) Froisland and daughter, Katie "Daddy's Girl" (Josh) Schreiber; 5 precious grandchildren, Maren, Bridger, Brooks, Allie and Maddie; sister, Stacy (Dennis) Belcher and brother, Dan (Melinda) Froisland. Preceded in death by his parents and younger brother, Bret.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Sept. 29, 2016 at 11 a.m. in the Sycamores 4th Ward, 7580 West 7980 South, West Jordan. Viewings will be held Wednesday, Sept. 28th , 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Larkin Mortuary ‚ Riverton, 3688 West 12600 South and Thursday at the Ward 9:30-10:30 a.m. Interment Herriman City Cemetery.
