David Blaine Craig

1968 ~ 2014

David returned to the loving arms of his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, June 24, 2014. David was born on June 25, 1968 to Norene Wallace Richardson in Pocatello, Idaho where he grew up, and graduated from Pocatello High School in 1986. He then joined the United States Marine Corp in 1987.

David married Cheri Merrill on March 30, 2002 and were later sealed for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake Temple on October 18, 2003. David was blessed to be the father of Josh and Skyler Craig from a previous marriage, and together David and Cheri welcomed Lacee and Easton. They resided in Pocatello, Idaho until moving to Lehi, Utah in May 2011.

David was currently employed by Comcast as a Supervisor where he was highly admired, loved and respected by his co-workers. His passion for his career was evident in his work ethic and commitment to his team.

David embraced being a father, many hours were spent helping Josh achieve the rank of Eagle Scout. Skyler and his dad share a great love for country music and were great friends. David enjoyed fishing and playing baseball with his little Easty boy. He was elated to finally have Lacee Lynn, the little girl he always dreamed of having. Cheri will miss her best friend and soul mate and the little ways they daily expressed their love for one another. David was a fun, loving man and had an outgoing personality with a smile that would light up the room.

David is survived by the love of his life, Cheri Craig, children, Josh (Pocatello), Skyler (Lehi), Lacee (12) and Easton Craig (10). He is also survived by his mother Norene Richardson, step-father D.C. Richardson, and his sister Lisa Craig Wigg. He was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Ken Wigg.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm at the LDS church building at 300 North 1100 West in Lehi with Bishop Lee Caldwell officiating. Friends may visit at a viewing on Friday evening from 5-7 pm at Larkin Mortuary 3688 W. 12600 S. Riverton, Utah and on Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. prior to the funeral services.
