John Bradshaw

1947 ~ 2018

John Bradshaw was born in Lindsay, Ontario, Canada December 17, 1947 to Ina (nee Maria Josine den Tex Bondt) and Gordon Bradshaw. He was baptized September 12, 1948. He enjoyed spending summers on Lake Simcoe with the extended Bradshaw family and graduated high school in Lindsay. He received a Bachelor of Arts with First Class Honors from the University of Alberta and a Masters Degree in Philosophy from Oxford University. He became a chartered accountant in 1977. He married Wendy Leigh Bradshaw (Nee Nielsen) in 1980 in Sylvan Lake, Alberta, Canada. He worked as a VP of Finance at Andalex Resources and a CFO of Norwest Corporation before retiring.

John was a beloved and dedicated husband and father with a keen intellect and a passion for life. His determined and passionate spirit touched all who knew him. He enjoyed traveling with his family, skiing, running, reading, math and other intellectual pursuits. Most of all he loved spending time with his wife, his five children and his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife Wendy Bradshaw, his five children, Melanie, Chanda, Clinton, Derek and Jarrett Bradshaw and his two grandchildren, Felicity and Hudson Labiner. He is also survived by his brother, Robert Bradshaw. He was preceded in death by his parents Ina and Gordon Bradshaw.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 24, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 3015 East Creek Road, Cottonwood Heights, Utah, where friends and family may visit one hour prior to the service. Interment at Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery.
