Jennifer Ann Meyers

1946 ~ 2015

Jennifer died peacefully of pneumonia surrounded by her family on September 11th 2015.

Jennifer was born February 13, 1946 in Adelaide Australia to Nenia and Arthur Sanders of Australia. She was the eldest of two children; her brother, Lindsay was born a few years later. Jennifer attended school in Adelaide Australia. After high school graduation, Jennifer worked as a fashion buyer for a major department store in Australia. She moved to the United States and married Calvin Meyers of Murray Utah for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake Temple October 2nd 1967. They made their home in Murray and had three children; Chris (Sylvia), Melinda (Kristian) and Cody (Andrea).

Jennifer worked at Cottonwood Hospital for seventeen years until a stroke left her disabled. Jennifer was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and enjoyed going to the Temple often, even after her disability. Jennifer loved dark chocolate, Vogue Magazine, Pepsi, and she will always be a true Aussie at heart. Jennifer loved being with her grandchildren and being a mother was her greatest joy. There never was a greater mother or more Christlike person.

The family would like to thank all of those who took care of her at Crosslands care center and Draper Care Center and for the very kind ICU staff at Alta View Hospital making her last days very comfortable.

Jennifer is survived by her husband; three children and their spouses; five grandchildren, Hayley, Elinn, Tallinn, Kylee, and Blake. She is also survived by her brother Lindsay (Helen) and her nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents.
