Velda F. Warren
Velda Warren, 75, of Taylorsville, Utah, died September 30, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family after a valiant battle with cancer.
She was born, May 4, 1943 in Ogden, Utah. A daughter of Lawrence and Emma (Molly) Frost. She was happily married to Bruce Warren since June 17, 1961, in Ogden. Together they had 3 children, Kelly (Penny) Warren, Wendy (Ron) Coons, and Trace Warren. She loved her grandchildren: Nate (Whitney), Haylee (Wes), Candyce, James (Melissa), Elisa, and Alexis. And her great-grandchildren: Kashtyn, Parley, Izabella, James, and Jack.
She was a proud member of Alcoholics Anonymous. Those who had the privilege of seeing her kindness and love she shared were blessed.
Velda LOVED to bake, and to share her baking with everyone! Especially zucchini bread! She also loved to cook, though seldom needed recipes. If you came to her house, she wanted you to eat, and sent you home with food! There are many babies wrapped up in her crocheted love, as well as her family! She loved to take long 4-wheeler rides at the cabin, and enjoying family time there.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and 5 siblings. She has one surviving sibling, Sandra Tasker.
Visitation will be held Friday, October 5, 2018 at 11am-1pm at The Chateau at 1910 E. Dimple Dell Road (10600 So.), Sandy, Utah 84092. Graveside services will follow at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 So.), Sandy, Utah.
