Edward James Bianco

Events

Edward James Bianco our beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend passed away on Monday, November 4, 2024 in Murray. Utah.

Ed was born on July, 13, 1937 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Anthony Bianco and Alice Todesco Bianco. He grew up in Salt Lake City, graduated from Granite High School, and then proudly joined the United States Navy at the age of 17. During his military service, he trained and worked as an airplane mechanic.

Following his honorable discharge from the Navy, in June 1958, Dad went on to attend and graduate from Utah State University with a bachelors degree, and then several years of graduate studies.

He worked as the entomologist for the State of Utah, and retired with 31 years of service. He was an extremely hard worker his entire life. Although he worked a full-time job, he often worked side jobs to earn extra money to provide for his family.

Dad enjoyed hunting, fishing, going to the gym, and working in his yard.

Our hearts will be forever broken by his passing. While at the same time, we are thankful that his body is now at peace.

Graveside services will be held Friday, November 22, 2024 at 11 AM at the Utah Veterans Cemetery & Memorial Park, located at 17111 S Camp Williams Road, Bluffdale, Utah 84065.

I am so sorry to hear of your dad’s passing.
I have great memories of him and times out west hunting deer. With him and fishing on various lakes.
He was such a jokester and always encouraged me to put the dried worms in my dads peanut M&M’s.

Ed
You were a forever teenager with a great sense of humor. I loved the look on your face when you were teasing. I appreciate your wisdom. Rest well young man

- Ron Larsen

I am very sorry to hear of Ed’s passing. His mix of humor, sarcasm and gumption was unique, they don't make them like that anymore! :) Over many years, he helped pave the way for many young people to grow their careers and have fun doing it. I was lucky to have worked with him, and would not be where I am today without his support and friendship. He was a good buddy to me, my heart goes out to his loved ones.
