We are sad to announce the passing of our so loved son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend. Efren Zuniga Jr. "Pelon" passed away September 20, 2023 and was born January 7, 1987 to Efren Zuniga and Maria D. Romero.

Pelon spent his childhood growing up in Rose Park, Glendale, and West Valley. Later he found his way back home to Rose Park where he was reunited with his Tia Irma and family.

* Knock Knock * "Tia Tia" as I turned the knob and opened the door, I never thought I'd be turning the page and opening my heart to so much more, a lifetime of love and memories to always adore, your silhouette through my window I'll forever AMOR.

Although Pelon faced many trials and tribulations throughout his life, he truly lived life to the fullest, enjoying simple pleasures and chatting with family and friends. Pelon was very charismatic and outspoken, he made friends wherever he went.

We will miss Pelon's free spirit, to some he was misunderstood but to those who truly knew and loved him he was genuine and bighearted. While we are devastated by our tremendous loss, we were truly blessed for having known and loved such a special/remarkable person. You will live in our hearts Always and Forever~

Pelon fell in love and was married to Nina Reed and later divorced, he was a great dad to her daughters.

His nieces Aaliyah and Isabella will miss him unconditionally and forever cherish the memories they had with him, his contagious smile and laugh will never be forgotten.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again~ Love Mom

I am expressing this on behalf of my family & myself, we are at a lose for words. We can't express enough and we all send our deepest sympathies and are sorry for you and your family's loss.
Having Pelon as apart of our family was a blessing, and he was a great father to niece's.

I just want you to know he will be missed very much by us all, as I know he will missed by everyone in your family and all that knew him.
Despite his struggles in his life Pelon always a heart and a good spirit and was always happy whenever I seen or heard from him.
He had a vivid imagination, that was one of a kind.
Goodbye My Brother, May You Rest Peacefully Now. Your Pain Is Gone, & Struggles Are All Behind You. I'll See You Again Someday.

When I first met Pelon he was a toddler in diapers that's,when I first starting dating his uncle Felipe he would always tell his dad and his mom Felipe's novia is in the room with him.Lol. I seen him when he was a child and then his brothers and sisters I got to meet them when they were all children, I got to see him as a teenager and a young adult he would always go to our house and visit us and even have dinner with us sometimes,
he was always around he was one of those cousins who was always around. His uncle Felipe would take him to work with him he enjoyed spending time with us. R.I.P. Pelon until we all meet again. You will always be in our hearts. 💙🤍🙏✨✨
