Eileen Louise Stafford, age 61, passed away at home in Bountiful, Utah on February 19, 2024. She was born June 18, 1962, in Albuquerque, NM to parents Hugh Ira Hamlett and Mary Margaret Hamlett. She resided there until her marriage to Richard Stafford in 1979.
Eileen felt the world would be a better place if everyone loved as unconditionally as our animals. She was passionate about fostering cats and dogs and loved spending time outdoors, but she experienced her greatest joy when she was surrounded by her family. Her love and unwavering support for her children knew no bounds.
She is survived by her husband Richard Stafford, six wonderful children, Zachary Stafford (Nick Murdock), Patrick Stafford, Kenan Stafford, Haley Stafford, Janay Stafford, Amber Stafford, and her siblings Cathy Goode (John Pijawka), Anne Hamlett, Mary Quinn, Carolyn Hamlett, James Hamlett, and ten beautiful grandchildren.
A Memorial Celebration of her life will take place on Sunday, February 25, 2024, at 12:30 pm at the Chateau at Le Jardin, 1910 East Dimple Dell Road, Sandy Utah. Friends and family may gather beginning at 12:00 pm and remain until 2:00 pm.
