Elaine Randall Bond Henrikson, of Ogden, Utah, passed away peacefully at the age of 93, on Monday, May 15, 2023, at Hidden Valley Assisted Living of natural causes. Elaine was born on October 24, 1929, in Plain City, Utah to Percy and Ada Randall.

Elaine grew up on the Randall family dairy farm on Fruitland Drive in North Ogden. She loved being outdoors on the farm working with her father, Percy, and her brothers, Dean, and Scott. She attended school in North Ogden and graduated from Weber High School. Elaine was married to Boyd Bryant Royster and then to Eugene W. Bond from whom both she was later divorced. Elaine found the true love of her life when she met Max C. Henrikson and they were married on March 6, 1964.They were later sealed in the Ogden Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on February 4, 1998.

Elaine was employed by Fred M Nye Company in Ogden, for over 20 years. She later worked for Donalyn’s Draperies & Decorating, as the office manager, and later retired. She loved and enjoyed the work and the people at both Nye’s and Donalyn's.

She loved boating with her family to Lake Powell and Bear Lake. One of her favorite trips was going to Red Fish Lake in the Sawtooth Mountains of Idaho. She also was an avid golfer and in her younger years, was the Ladies Association President at El Monte Golf Course, winning many tournaments. Elaine loved horses and enjoyed going to the horse races in Pocatello, Idaho. She was very supportive of her grandsons football and baseball games and she and Max loved traveling with them to cheer them on.

Elaine is survived by; her daughter, Jana Kay (Ray) Tompkins of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, her son, Randall Wayne Bond, of Centerville, Utah, and her son Chris Eugene (Sandy) Bond of South Weber, Utah. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Jodi (Steve), Brandon, Nathan (Malia), Christine (Jon), Josiah (Megan), Josh (Sydney), Britney, Jason (Whitney), Bryan (Kourtney), and twenty-four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Max,, and her sister, Cleone Price.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2023 at 10:00 am with a visitation from 8:45 am to 9:45 am for friends and family. Services will be held at the Weber Stake Center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints located at 5855 Skyline Drive, in South Ogden, Utah. Interment will take place at Ben Lomond Cemetery in North Ogden, Utah. For those unable to attend in person, the service will also be streamed online; click the "Watch Services" button above. The family wishes to express special thanks to Hidden Valley Assisted Living for their special care for Elaine over the last five years and also to A-Plus Hospice for their love and compassion. Gratitude is also expressed to Larkin Mortuary and especially to Emma Hamilton, Elaine’s great-niece, for taking care of our mom after her passing. Finally, as was our tradition when saying goodbye after each visit, we always told her, “Love you Mom, see you tomorrow”, after which she would reply to us, “Love you more”. It’s our turn now, mom, “Love you more”.

Kids, I am so sorry that you have lost a link she was a wonderful lady and they were I was so happy to help her when she got sick of first time and help her take her places and have her enjoy her time with some of the girls up and the senior apartments and I sure hope that she can rest in peace now.
