Aunt Shirley,

I am so sorry to hear of Elliott’s passing. I have many fond childhood memories of visiting your house – playing old video games and drinking soda. You and Elliott always made us feel so welcome. And my girls loved visiting you this past summer. We enjoyed watching Elliott’s family and nature videos, playing his jukeboxes, “winning” his slot machine, and seeing his pride in his classic car. Elliott received an A plus as far as uncles go. So thoughtful, generous, and kind. He will be greatly missed.

It has been my honor to have an uncle like uncle Elliott. I was not around him for a lot of years but when I was it was a privilege and an honor. He was a really good man. He treated me and my family with love and respect. We will miss him very much. I wish I could have lived nearer to him. I think we could have had really good memories. We’ve been blessed to have known and loved him. I can still remember riding with him in his GTO when we were in Utah! So much fun and him calling to ask us to go out to eat a steak. We love yaw!
My favorite uncle yes indeed
