Eloy (Pete) Aguila Sr.

In loving memory of our dear Eloy (Pete) Aguila Sr.

He was called home on October 12, 2023. He was a good man, dad, husband grandpa, great grandpa, brother, son, uncle cousin nephew friend in every matter and every way he was there. His favorite things were fishing, canned fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a good gardener. He loved edging the grass with scissors. He loved the Philadelphia Eagles and got many to join his fan club. He was always there for anyone no matter what. He could make anyone laugh and smile at any opportunity even when he was low, he was there.

He was welcomed home with opening arms to his mom, dad, son, daughter, siblings and so many other loved ones.

He was survived by his parents Eliseo and Gabriella Aguila (Sigala); Children Eloy, Mana. Arturo, and Angelica; Grandchildren Marissa, Ambriel, Azaria, Brayden, Gage, Gracie, Braxton, Savanna, Max, and Amari; Great Grandchildren Jaida Roberto Jr. and Julian; Siblings Esperanza, Maria-Ellena, Anita, Ismael, Jose-Luis, Javier, and Daniel; nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. So many cousins, friends and other close loved ones.

He was loved by everyone. He was the sweetest, most loving caring kind man anyone could be blessed with. He will be missed so much but his memory will live on through all of us. Forever in our hearts, Forever flying with the Eagles. We love you; we will laugh together again.
A viewing will be held on Friday, October 20, 2023, from 6:00-8:00 pm at Larkin Mortuary (260 East South Temple, SLC) and on Saturday, October 21, 2023 from 10:00-11:00 am at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church (670 1100 E, SLC). A rosary will follow at 11:00 am and a funeral mass at 11:30 am.

Interment will be held at Salt Lake City Cemetery (200 “N” St. SLC).
