Emily Marissa Roberts Robinson peacefully left this world on June 28, 2023 at home in South Jordan, Utah.

Emily was such a strong, beautiful young woman. As a child, she played the piano and violin and loved crafting, but what she was really good at was keeping her four brothers in line. They all knew she was the boss.

Emily brought two beautiful babies into this world. When she was 16, she gave birth to a precious girl named Paisley, and found an incredible family that adopted her.

Four years ago, she gave birth to a strong, sweet boy. Carson was a small but mighty preemie weighing in at only 2 ½ pounds. Emily loved spending time with Carson. She would always say how happy he made her feel.

She loved going to Lagoon any chance she could. She loved the thrill of its exhilarating rides. She was obsessed with scary movies and sushi, give her a big juicy steak, and boy, she was a happy camper!
Emily loved crafting and loved scrolling Pinterest for crafting ideas. She loved spending time with her family playing games and watching movies! And of course, Gordan Ramsey.

Survived by her husband Chase Robinson, son Carson Robinson, daughter Paisley, father and devoted caretaker Stan, mother Sharon, brothers Jace Roberts, Travis (Brittanee) Roberts, Tanner (Kate) Roberts, and Jayden (Kortney) Roberts. Preceded in death by her biological parents Charles Thomas Rodgers, Jr. and Annette Melinda Jones Rodgers, cherished grandmother Emily Moon Jones grandfather Wendell Jones, grandfather James Leonard Roberts, grandmother Idonna Arline Roberts, grandfather Richard Swain, and grandmother Jean Swain.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, July 3, 2023 at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South), Sandy, UT. A visitation will be held from 12:30 – 1:30 pm prior to the services. If you would like to watch the recorded services, please click on the blue “Watch Services” button above.

In memory of Emily, we suggest that you do two things: Hug your loved ones close and sign up to be an organ donor.

My heart aches over the loss of such an amazing woman. I may have only known her for a short period of time, but she was such a blessing. She had so much spunk and sass about her, she knew how to keep the boys in line. I loved singing karaoke, jumping on the tramp and doing all the girly things. I will never forget her huge infectious smile. Please know her and her family are in my prayers. My deepest condolences.

My heart aches when I think of all the disappointment and loss that was part of Marissa's life. She would say, '"It's ok I'm over that." I don't know if you ever get over some of the things that happened to her. Now, I think she really is ok. I know Marissa felt loving arms wrap around her as she left this earth life. I am so grateful for Stan being the constant in her life. He was always there for her. I would hug her and tell her that I loved her and she would say, "Of course I know you do."
