Elaine was born in Moscow, Idaho to Ivan and Bertha Mushlitz, and raised in the area. She married B. D. Tupper on September 25, 1943 and they had five children: Lynne (James) Turner, Mark (Janet) Tupper, Marsha (John) Moeller, Elizabeth Villarino, and Barry (Shelley, deceased) Tupper. There are 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Elaine was a dedicated homemaker and mother and her passion in later life was quilting. She loved making cookies and desserts and was a lovingly known as the "Cookie Grandma". Music has always been part of her daily life and her favorite choice was the Big Band Era. She loved family gatherings and looked forward to all the holidays.
Elaine is preceded in death by her parents and all of her siblings, her husband and her daughter-in-law. She is survived by her five children and their spouses as well as all of their children and grandchildren.
There will be a Memorial Service on Thursday, February 27th at 2:00 p.m. at the Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South), Sandy, Utah.
