Fayolla Robbins Richardson

1924 ~ 2014

Was called home to be with our Heavenly Father on August 4, 2014. She was surrounded in love by her family who will miss her more than words can say.

Fayolla was born on September 14, 1924 in the quiet little town of Snowville, UT to Alfred and Alice Robbins. She was the second youngest child in a family of 12. At a young age she and her family moved to Tremonton, UT. In her early years, the Box Elder County eye catcher was a sure footed competitive dancer, Brigham City Peach Days Queen, and hospital aid at the Bushnell Army Hospital for injured WWII soldiers. In 1951 Fayolla married Walter Wayne Richardson and moved to Salt Lake City. Her husband died suddenly in 1966; she never remarried. As a widow, Faye worked hard to provide for her two children.

Faye, as she was known, was the most incredible mother, grandmother and most recently, a great grandmother, a family could ask for. God truly broke the mold when Faye was made! Our memories of Mom and Grandma Faye, will be cherished forever. She was the most amazing pianist and organist. People loved to hear her play. Her gift of music delighted so many and because of her talent she was asked to be the Riverside Ward Organist and ended up spending 45 years of her life in this capacity. Faye's love for her children and grandchildren was beyond words. There wasn't anything she wouldn't do for them. She had a heart of gold. The little things in life made her the happiest. The world will not be the same without her.

Faye is preceded in death by her husband, Walter Wayne Richardson, and son Bruce Wayne Richardson, step-son, Robert Richardson, her parents, Alfred and Alice Robbins, and all her brothers and sisters. What a reunion this is for her! She is survived by her daughter, Rochelle (Alex) Fraser, Grandsons Jerod Auger and Garrett Fraser, Granddaughter Jenna Fraser and Great Granddaughter Ashlynn Rose Auger, step-son Paul Richardson (Ann) Kloer, and three grand dogs and two grand cats.

Funeral proceedings will be held at The Riverside Ward on 500 north and 11th west in SLC at 11:30 a.m., Friday August 8th. Friends and relatives may attend a special viewing that morning from 10 am ‚ 11:15 a.m. Interment will follow at The Brigham City Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. Online condolences: www.larkincares.com

The family wishes to express a very heart-felt "Thank you" to all of those wonderful workers and CNA's at the Heritage Assisted Living Center and Hospice of Utah who helped take care of Faye during the final time of her life. Her face would light up whenever they entered her room. The love, support and respect they showed Faye and her family in her final days was nothing short of remarkable.
