Our beloved son, father, brother, uncle and friend Darrell Glenn Ruttenbur born September 13, 1979, passed away on October 13, 2017. Darrell was a passionate father who enjoyed most spending time with his two sons Anthony and Darrell Jr. and his daughter Paityn. Darrell grew up in West Valley, Utah and was the oldest of six. Darrell spent and enjoyed his youth dedicated to sports and excelled in baseball. He attended Granger High School, after high school he began working for his father at G and G Trucking. Any and all free time was spent between his kid's activities, his nephews and only niece Cadence. Darrell enjoyed being the oldest of his four younger sisters and enjoyed deeply being the big brother of youngest Aaron. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, and welding. Always striving for perfection and perfect hair. Darrell will be missed by the many lives he always brought a smile to.
Survived by sons Anthony and Darrell Jr. Ruttenbur, daughter Paityn Ruttenbur. Parents Glenn and Teresa Ruttenbur. Sisters Lisa and husband Jeff Finlayson, Candi and husband Brian Ingraham, Jamie and husband Marcus Isaacs, Jessica Ruttenbur, youngest brother Aaron Ruttenbur, and his six nephews and one niece.
Preceded in death by Grandparents Richard and Lois Ruttenbur, Larmen Stock and Mary Boer Tibbits and nephew Brayden Walter Isaacs.
Services will be held on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at 11:00 am at Larkin Mortuary (260 E South Temple, Salt Lake City, UT 84111). Viewings will be held on Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm and Thursday at 9:30 am. Interment at Grantsville City Cemetery.
