In Loving Memory
Esther Dorothy Olschewski Beagley passed away peacefully on January 7th, 2022, surrounded by her loving family in Herriman, Utah- she was 84 years old.
Esther was born in Brooklyn, New York, on February 7th, 1937, to Otto H. Olschewski and Charlotte Anna Friese. At the age of 4, she and her family migrated from New York to Salt Lake City, Utah.
Esther and her dear husband, Larry Beagley, were joined in holy matrimony for all eternity on December 29th, 1957. Together, they raised 12 children, though she was a mother to many children.
Our Dear Mother’s life was a life of sacrifice, freely giving her love, health, and strength wherever and whenever needed. She was a mother to many and had countless grandchildren around her. In her very loving way, she brought many babies into this world and was ever ready to comfort and assist the weary mother in her hour of travail. She was a teacher, a dear friend to many, and a loving companion to her husband. She had a deep and abiding love for the Gospel of Jesus Christ; it was her whole life’s work to live the fulness of the everlasting gospel. She was an example to all around her of a faithful Latter-Day Saint. All who knew her and loved her will truly miss her beautiful spirit.
Esther is survived by her dear husband, Larry Beagley, her immediate and extended family, including Kathryn, Carolyn, Christine, Maria, Hyrum, Patricia, Jared, Timothy, Rachel, & Rebekah. Esther was preceded in death by her son, Joseph, and daughter Julie Ann. She is also survived by four siblings: Mildred Barlow, Ruth Beagley, Lucy Wayman, and Samuel Olschewski.
A funeral service was held at Larkin Mortuary on Friday, January 14th, 2022. Interment at Elysian Gardens.
