Esther Beverly VanWagenen

Esther Beverly Perkins Van Wagenen passed away peacefully on November 18, 2021, at the age of 89. She was born on September 21, 1932, in Elwood, Utah to Joseph M. and Esther Jensen Perkins. Married Leon L. Van Wagenen June 26, 1952. They had two sons, Gregory L and Kim J. Van Wagenen. Beverly’s sons were the joy of her life. She and Leon later divorced.

Beverly was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She loved her Heavenly Father and appreciated all he did for her. She loved her family and her pets. Beeker, her bird, was a real treat.

She retired at age 76 and lived out her later years with her son, Gregory. Beverly was especially grateful to Gregory for taking such good care of her.

Survived by her son, Gregory Van Wagenen. One brother, Marshall. 7 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph, and Esther Perkins. Brother, Merlin Perkins, sister-in-law, Mary Perkins, and grandson, Levi.

Private funeral services will be held under the direction of the family.
