Marie Blanche Fuller passed away from natural causes on the morning of December 25, 2016 after 78 years of life. Born on March 2, 1938, Marie dreamed of having a large family. Marie was blessed with five living children, 14 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother.
Marie grew up in Salt Lake City and graduated from East High School and the University of Utah. She later earned a nursing degree from Brigham Young University.
As an R.N., Marie dedicated her career in service to others. She specialized in helping those with mental health issues at LDS Hospital and University Medical Center.
Marie also had a number of hobbies keepingher busy during retirement. She loved reading about history and collecting antique furniture.
Marie leaves behind her children Kristi Young, Rebecca Harding (Ray), Pamela Van Noy (Tommy), Spencer Young (Janna), and Alicia Bacon (Don) along with her sister Evelyn Bartlett (Roger). She was preceded in death by her parents Leo Woods Fuller and Blanche Evelyn Cohn Fuller.
The funeral will take place at Larkin Mortuary on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at 12 noon (260 E. South Temple, Salt Lake City, Utah). A viewing will be held just prior to the funeral from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Interment at Salt Lake City Cemetery.
