Richard (Rick) Litson, 75, passed away in Salt Lake City, Utah on November 27, 2017, after a long illness. Rick was born on May 5, 1942 in Murray, Utah to Richard LeRoy Litson and Delores McCleery Litson.
Rick worked hard to provide for his family. He was employed by Sprouse-Reitz stores for 27 years, managing stores in Tremonton, Brigham City, Centerville, and Price, Utah. He was a member of the Tremonton Jaycees. Rick also joined the Utah State Fireman's Association and served with the Tremonton Volunteer Fire Department. He loved spending time at his cabin at Schofield Reservoir and enjoyed fishing, camping, and hunting with friends.
Rick is survived by his daughters, Tami (Kurt) Casper and Vicki Jeppsen (Darren Laswell); the mother of his children, Sheila Litson; seven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and his sisters, Marsha (Ken) Nichols, Susan Litson, and Sandy (Jerry) Pearce. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Family and friends are welcome to join us at a graveside service to be held on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East Dimple Road (10600 South), Sandy, Utah.
The family would like to thank the staff members of St. Joseph Villa and Symbii Hospice for their kindness and care during Rick's stay.
