Eva Millie McCuen, beloved mother and wife passed away on Monday December 4th, 2023.

Born to Marge and Kenneth Tingey on November 18th, 1956, Eva was the fourth of six wonderful children. All of whom took care of each other and loved each other deeply.

Eva’s best friends in life were Sandy Killian and CaryLyn Miles. She was especially close to her sisters Cindy and Jenny. When Eva chose a friend, it was for life and when her friends needed her she was always there for them. Eva often spoke of things she learned from her family most importantly to never give up and always keep trying. To Eva, knowledge was the most important aspect in life as it was something no one could take from you and the only thing you take with you.

Eva’s proudest moment was becoming a mother in 1982 to a daughter, Rebecca which was made complete when she met her husband and soulmate Ray McCuen.

Eva married into a blended family and worked throughout her life to honor her husband's wishes of accepting his children as her family.
Eva lived a life of serving others from her career choice of opening her home as an affordable daycare for those who needed support day or night to working in the Arbor Society and being called on 2 Family History Missions for the LDS church. Eva also faithfully served as a Stake Missionary for two years. She made quilts for the homeless, supported the YWCA and many shelter programs. She went to school at night to earn first her associates and finally her Bachelor's degree.

Eva is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ray Brant McCuen, parents Kenneth & Marge, sister Rebecca, brothers, David & John Tingey, niece Tara Turner, and granddaughter Virginia Grace.

Eva is survived by her daughter Rebecca Walsh, grandchildren Vincent, Michael and Victoria, Siblings, Jim Tingey, Kenneth & Candy Tingey, Jenny & Bill Quisenberry, Cindy and Stan Gray.
