Teresa Anne Fuller Rigby

1955 ~ 2016

Teresa Anne Fuller Rigby, 61, beloved wife, daughter, sister, aunt and friend passed away on September 19, 2016 at her home in Salt Lake City, Utah. Teresa was born on May 2, 1955 to Lee Ann Peterson and Frank M. Fuller in Richfield, Utah. She was the oldest of four children. In 1986, her father introduced her to the love of her life, Kent R. Rigby. Teresa and Kent were married on August 8, 1987.

From a very young age, Teresa had a passion for music. At two years of age she began humming the many tunes her parents would play on their tiny portable stereo. As a grade schooler she began playing the violin, and as a young woman, with lessons from her dad and many hours of self-practice, she began playing her most treasured instrument, the guitar, which was a great accompaniment to her incredibly beautiful and unique voice. At East high school she loved performing in many different musical groups including the orchestra, Triple Trio, and A' Capella. She attended the University of Utah and was affiliated with Alpha Chi Omega Sorority.

Teresa spent 10 plus years working for First Security Bank where she eventually became Assistant Vice President of Credit Card Collections. She also enjoyed performing as a musician and vocalist with many different musical groups. She loved playing professionally in Las Vegas Nevada, Sun Valley Idaho, and in many different venues throughout the State of Utah. Those who had the honor to know Teresa, however, will remember her most for her kind heart, gentle spirit and loving disposition. She was truly a person without guile.

Teresa is survived by her husband, her parents, her siblings, Wendy (Richard) Davis, Frank Fuller (Nusi Larsen), and Darin (Lisa) Fuller, sister-in-law's Sherida (Scott) Marshall, Melanie McKenzie, Georgi Rigby, brother-in-law Rohn (Lisa) Rigby, and many other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A celebration of Teresa's life will be held Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. at the Utah Arts Alliance Art Hub, 663 West 100 South, Salt Lake City, UT. Online condolences may be left at www.larkincares.com. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Utah Humane Society.
