Our loving mother, grandma, sister and friend, Lucile V. Georgell, passed away on September 18, 2016. She was born June 12, 1925 in Salt Lake City, Utah to John and Nellie Veenendaal. She married John Lance Georgell, November 1, 1945 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He passed away May 29, 2010. Lucile was active in the LDS Church.
Survived by two daughters, Diane (Mike) Peterson, Elaine (Keith) Pickett, two sons, Mark (Sharon), Gary (Nancy), 18 grandchildren, 55 great grandchildren, one great-great grandson, sister Bertha Mason, and two brothers Richard and John Veenendaal. Preceded in death by her husband, two great grandsons, sisters Francis and Dorothy, brothers George and Robert.
Funeral service Saturday, September 24, 2016, 11:00 a.m., at the Jordan Meadows Ward, 3935 South 1500 West. Visitation 10:15 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the service. Interment at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South), Sandy, Utah.
