Phillip passed away on June 16, 2018 at the age of 82. Phil was born on December 19, 1935 in Salt Lake City, to Alma Percy and Florence Klenk Card.
Phil served in the Army as a medic in Japan from 1955-1956. He married Yvonne Sanderson in 1957 and was later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on July 11, 1984. They spent sixty wonderful years together. Phil and Yvonne had three children and loved to spend time making treasured memories at their cabin in Bear Lake.
Phil was a successful business man. He built Card Signs, Inc. and Card Outdoor Advertising. He was a creative artist and was talented at the "lost art" of hand lettering and sign painting.
Phillip is survived by his wife, Yvonne, his sister, Anita Stucki, and children; Carolyn (Michael) Mulvaney, Traci (David) Johanson, as well as 8 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. Phil was preceded in death by his son, Phillip Kent, his parents, and two brothers; Charles and James.
Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, June 22,2018 at the Ensign Peak Ward Chapel. 125 East North Sandrun Road, Salt Lake City, UT. A viewing will be held prior to the service at 10:30 AM. Interment Larkin Sunset Lawn.
