On December 1, 2014 Peter passed away from complications from a recent fall. Peter was born August 28, 1924 in Salt Lake City, Utah to William Hubrey and Lucille E. Crystal Wilson.
Peter was an honored Army veteran serving in WWII and following his return from the Pacific graduated from the University of Utah. He was a successful businessman in Salt Lake City and following retirement spent his time reading, investing, world traveling with his wife, and visiting with family and friends. He was a responsible and practical man that inherited his business savvy from his father and quick wit from his mother. Everyone that knew him cherished his friendship and generosity. His second marriage to Jean was very happy and brought Peter the love and comfort that he needed.
Peter is survived by his younger brother Jack Wilson of Boise, Idaho; his two sons Scott (Stephanie) and Brett (Cheryl) from his first marriage; his six grandchildren Nicole, Cortland, Zachary, McKensey, Alexandra and Remington; his three great grandchildren McKinnley, Bridger and Isabelle; his stepdaughter Khristine Campos, stepsons Greg and Brad Orton; Peter was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife Delphia D. Horn (divorced); his second wife Jean Hellmandollar Wilson.
There will be a gathering at Larkin Mortuary, 260 E. South Temple Street in Salt Lake City, Utah onMonday December 8, 2014 at 11:00am. A graveside service will follow at the family plot in the Salt Lake City Cemetery (200 \"N\" Street)at12:00pm.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers a donation be made to the Huntsman Cancer Institute at the University of Utah.
