On September 16, 2015 our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and dear friend, Lynn, passed away in Salt Lake City, Utah. The daughter of George and Lucille Simpson, Lynn was born on January 25, 1939 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Lynn married Bruce Masters on July 10, 1956 and together they had three children. Bruce passed away on May 27, 2001 and she later married Ronald J. Patterson on July 15, 2003. Lynn loved being with her family whether it was for family outings or playing the card game bridge with family and friends. Lynn was a great cook and loved sharing with her family. She will always be remembered for her strong loving, giving and caring nature.
Lynn is survived by her husband Ron, children Bruce (Eileen) Masters and Michelle Van Otten (Cory), step-children Josh (Stephanie) Patterson and Alisha Patterson, 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 2 sisters Carol (Keith) Norris and Sally Hammon and many dear friends and family. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Bruce Masters, daughter Paula Archer and a sister Georgia Finster.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 21, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. at the Mount Olivet Cemetery, 1342 East 500 South, Salt Lake City, Utah. A viewing will be held from 10:00 ‚ 11:00 a.m. at the Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple Street, prior to services.
