Frances Lucile Sterling of Seattle Washington, daughter of Sherman and Adeline Sterling, passed away peacefully at the age of 87, on Tuesday morning, November 23, 2021, the anniversary of her birth. Born in Kettle Falls Washington on November 23rd, 1934, Frances was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister.

Frances is survived by her elder sisters Glenna Kendal, Isabell Lege; and her four children daughter Shirlyn E. Decambra; three sons Raymond S.K. Fujikawa, Brian T.K Fujikawa, and Keith T.K. Fujikawa. The youngest of her five children Gwynyth Hulali Fujikawa, passed away on July 4th, 1966. Her older brother, Ross Sterling, passed in 2015.

Francis was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints whose devotion to her Father in Heaven, included her love for teaching Sunday school, performing many hours of Temple work, while remaining unrelenting and steadfast to Gospel Principles. She loved the Lord, loved her family, loved the church, had a special place in her heart for animals, and was a true patriot to her country. While finding time with her social circle of Needlepoint friends, Frances was an avid reader who studied history, had a passion for ballroom dance and a love for music which she shared by playing classical guitar. Along with her five children, she was also blessed with 8 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren, all of whom she loved immeasurably. She will be missed by all.

Private services for family members only, will be held for Frances on November 30th, 2021, 12:00 noon, at the Larkin Sunset Garden Cemetery, 1950 E. Dimple Dell Rd. (10600 S.), Sandy.
