    Dear Frans and family,

The Bracken Family of Nephi have fond memories of Frans and his endless enthusiasm for life. He came to live with my Grandparents in Nephi after the war. Frans helped Grandpa Rulon with the farm work and attended school during the day. At night Grandma Tacy taught him to read and write in English. Frans was quick to learn.

Whenever we would get together as a family you were always invited. To us, you were the baby brother of the Bracken Family. We love you, Uncle Frans.
