Susan Marshall Bryant, age 55, passed away on June 21 2014.
She was born April 22 1959, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Fred and Nona Marshall. Sue was the youngest of three children, with an older sister, Kathy, and brother, Tom. She grew up in Olympus Cove, attending Skyline High School. Sue fell in love with her brother's best friend, Dan C. Bryant. Like her father, Dan was a fisherman. It was a match made in heaven.
Dan and Sue married on August 25 1978, in Salt Lake City. Together they raised three children: Seth, Michael, and Andrea. The family took fishing and camping trips all over the Rocky Mountains. They made their home in Sandy, Utah.
Sue bravely fought breast cancer, and beat it into remission for more than a decade. In the eyes of her family, she will always be a survivor. She leaves behind her husband, Dan; mother, Nona; children, Seth (Jenn), Michael, and Andrea; siblings, Kathy (Reed), and Tom; grandchildren, Lincoln, Ella, and Danny; and many other loved ones and friends. She has gone on to meet her dad, Fred.
Life's a funny thing. In the end, it's not how long you live, but how much you love. Sue lived a full life, because she loved much; and, in the lives of the family and friends she touched, her legacy continues. She will be missed dearly, but we trust that our broken circle will be restored someday, by and by.
A viewing will be held on Friday, June 27, from 6-8pm at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E. Dimple Dell Road (10600 S.), Sandy, Utah and one hour prior to the service . A funeral service will be held the following day, on Saturday, June 28, at 2pm, at the Larkin Sunset Gardens chapel. Following the funeral, we'll lay Sue's body to rest at Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery.
