Carol Ann Anderson Burch passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 15th, 2019 in Draper, Utah. Born May 6th, 1935 in Pocatello, Idaho to Emma Gene Butcher and Erick Leonard Anderson.
She grew up in Pocatello, Idaho and Salt Lake City, and graduated from Granite High School. Mom married James Dean Burch on June 18th, 1954. Marriage later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple.
Mom is our hero in every sense of the word. She gave everything she had for her children, including working 20 years as a school lunch lady for Jordan School District, at Alta View Elementary and Union Middle School, retiring in 1997. She loved the people she worked with and remained friends with several of the ladies all of her life.
She is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in various callings and as a cub scout leader.
Survived by her children: Carla (Steven) Law; Stephen (Kistine) Burch; and Wendy Burch; 6 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and her brother Jon (Stephanie) Anderson.
Preceded in death by her parents and husband.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, September 27th, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South), Sandy, Utah. Honoring moms wishes there will be no viewing. Interment will take place at the Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery following services.
