Trilva Moss Patrick

1921 ~ 2017

96 years ago, before a pulmonary embolism took her away, Trilva was born to Sterling Ezra and Bessie Ann Clark Moss in a small town in Idaho. When she opened her eyes and saw the world, she said "do it my way, or the wrong way," and she lived life her way till the end. Trilva grew up in Teton City with her "twin cousin", Belva White Emery, thinning beets and digging potatoes until they both decided to become nurses after high school graduation.

During nurses training at the LDS Hospital, Trilva met and later married Robert Smith Patrick who preceded her in death 38 years ago. Together they had four children Sandra (Dennis) Earl, Sterling (Diane), Bill (Sheila, divorced), and Brad (Karen) Patrick. Those four kids gave Trilva eleven grandchildren and many, many great and great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by her hugely loved baby sister Deanna Kae Moss (Robert) Stenson. Preceded in death by her older sister Wilda Ritchie.

Along with her very rigid ways, Trilva had and displayed a big, loving and helpful heart, and was deeply loved by everyone who knew her. She will be greatly missed by many, many people, but everyone knows she is now where she truly wants to be.

A special thanks to the staff at LDS Hospital wound care, Landmark Hospital and Life Care Center of Salt Lake City for their loving support and care to our mother.
