Darnell Heaton Jones was born on March 30, 1936 in Kanab, Utah. He died on December 18, 2015 in Salt Lake City, Utah at age 79.His father, Charles Legrand Jones and mother, Violet Heaton were happy to welcome their first born son into the world. He had a happy and fulfilling childhood. He was active and progressive as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.He went on a mission for the Church in Texas and Louisiana. After, he decided to attend Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. While there during 1957-1960, he met his wife to be: Yvonne Skillman. They married on July 2, 1960 and have been married for fifty-five years sharing a happy and blessed life together. They became parents of three children: Scott, Benjamin, and Juliet Jones. Scott passed on to Heaven in September, 2015. Benjamin, age 39, and Juliet, age 37, are still at home with their mother.Darnell became a very successful Chiropractor and practiced for twenty-eight years in Sandy, Utah. To be one of his patients was a true blessing. He gave all he could to his practice. All were greatly blessed. He had a marvelous sense of humor which he shared with all. He was kind and caring with all his associates.He has been preceded in death by one of his sons, Scott Jones who he is now blessed to associate with in Heaven.We all look forward to being together some day - again.Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 23, 2015, at 11 a.m. with a viewing at 10 a.m. at the Nibley Park Ward LDS Church, 2450 South 600 East, Salt Lake City, UT 84106.
