Our beautiful mother Faye Cardon, 91, passed away peacefully on Mother\s Day at her home in Salt Lake City. She is preceded in death by Dean, her beloved husband of 58 years and by her sisters Mary Stevens and Ruth Grant. She is survived by her two sons, David Dean Cardon of Saint George and Jeffrey Stewart Cardon (Helen Hemingway) of Salt Lake City. Faye was the proud grandmother of Kate Cardon, Megan Packer, April Jones, George Cardon, Madeline Cardon, and Charles Cardon. She was the matriarch of our family and nurtured her nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Her family extended far beyond that, however, and included those brought into her ever growing circle. If you were in that circle you were worried about, cared for and disciplined if necessary. Most of all you were loved. Rest In Peace dear Faye, we love you.
Our family would like to thank all the amazing caregivers who helped Faye over the past 6 years. Rachelle Harris and Helen went over and above the call to keep Mom safe and healthy. Dr. Keith Lane gave Faye wise professional medical care.
Funeral services will be held onFriday, May 19th at 2 p.m.at Larkin Sunset Lawn Mortuary, 2350 East 1300 South. A visitation will be held from1:30-2:00prior to the services.
