George Christopher Williams

George Christopher Williams returned home to the loving embrace of our Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ on April 6th 2026. Chris was Born Feb. 24 1959 in Downey California to goodly parents George Edward Williams and Constance Eves who taught their family right from wrong, to work hard and to have faith in our Savior Jesus Christ.

As a young man, Chris loved electric trains and being a Scout. He got his Eagle rank at the age of 16. He Graduated from Granger High school in 1977 and served a full time mission in Leeds, England. On February 24, 1982 he married Susan Patridge and later became the proud father of three children. Chris went on to receive an associate’s degree in accounting from Snow College. At Snow College he discovered his knack for pottery, which led to an interest in entrepreneurship and he started at least four businesses throughout his life. He loved eating Mexican food, reading, playing chess, gardening, cooking, baking and discussing religion, politics and guns.

He is preceded in death by both of his parents (Ed and Connie) and survived by his younger brother and sisters Michael Williams, Cari Leavitt (Marty), Lori Chase (Warren) and Kelli Williams; his three children Cynthia Huffman (Alexander), Lisa Corry, Brian Williams (Lynae); and six grandchildren: Zoe, Asher, Liam, Brianna, Elias, and Livia.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 5th 2026 at 11am at Valley View Cemetery, 4335 W. 4100 S. West Valley City, UT.
