Sharon—
I read with a heavy heart of Jay’s passing. He was one of my favorite employees for the time we were together in the Maintenance group and afterwards. I always enjoyed interacting with Jay, whether it was problem-solving or just socializing. He was truly a jack-of-all-trades. We lost a good man when we lost Jay. May you be comforted by 58 years of precious memories. I hope you are doing well.

At ATK, Jay was the plant expert in design and maintenance of hydraulic systems. His work still operates today as he intended it.
But more than that, Jay was a warm and amusing person who took this greenhorn engineer under his wing. He patiently taught myself and many others the methods of hydraulic madness. Office discussions of fly fishing, his wife Sharon and his cabin in Henefer will be memories I won’t forget.
Jay was loved and respected by all and will be missed.
