With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Georgia Fenton on March 18, 2022 at the age of 81. Our loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and friend to all whose lives she touched.

Georgia was the beloved wife of the late Dale Fenton. Much loved mother of Kevin Boren (Sondra), Holly Teschner (late Brian), the late Cameron Boren (Rosanne), Stewart Boren (Barbara) and Heather Potter (Casey).

Cherished grandmother of Elizabeth, Shauna (Rhett), Brittany (Blake), Melissa (John), Sarah, and Monica (Porter) Courtney, DJ (Jennifer), Christina (Anthony), Jonathan, Crystal (Carter), Brandon, Jeshua, Aaron, Alex, Matthew (Cole), Melanie (Lucas), Chris (Maddy), Rebecca (Ben), CJ, Taylor, Tanner and Ashton, great grandmother of Colby, Ethan, Dillon, Garrett, Luke, Lydia, Noah, Isaac, Daniel, Adam, Isabella and Auroa.

The daughter of the late Jonathan Oxford Burke and the late Lora Hottinger (late Bud) and was born on June 30, 1940 in Chicago Illinois.

She is the dear sister of the late Emily Wallace (late Clarence) and the late Jonathan Douglas Burke.

She will be remembered by her many nieces and nephews.

She loved to cook, kept an immaculate house, was highly skilled with crochet hooks and loved to sew. She played the flute and loved to sing. She loved to build things in her younger years hence the family nicknamed her "Carpenter George". She loved laughter and would always try to make people laugh at the silliest things. She loved red roses, but her favorite gift was greeting cards, so if you would like to put a greeting card in her casket, she would love that. She also loved poetry and wanted this poem she wrote to her husband Dale to be in her obituary.

I thought of you today
But that is nothing new
I thought of you yesterday
and days before that too.
I think of you in silence,
I often speak your name.
All I have are memories
and a picture in a frame.
Your memory is a keepsake
from which I'll never part.
God has you in His arms,
I have you in my heart.
2017 written by Georgia Fenton

They are now together and both are in Gods arms.

I was thinking about Miss Georgia tonight and am saddened to hear about her passing. She was one of te kindest women I had an honor to meet. The ways she took me in as one of her own grandchildren is something I'll remember forever. Being one of her previous caretakers was a blessing for me as she helped me grow and learn in many ways. She will be dearly missed.
