Adored by family, including nieces and nephews who thought Gerald’s chief occupation in life was to play with them, be it Fisher and Price, pandas, or Nerf battles. He patiently helped all his nieces and nephews, from toddlers to teenagers, learn the essential life skills from rocket launching to Skull King.

Gerald graduated from high school in Havana, IL in 1993. He lived the majority of his adult life in Salt Lake City, Utah and Seattle, Washington. Gerald assisted with, and then managed the print shop for Seattle University for 20 years. However, his primary focus in both Seattle and Salt Lake City was music. Gerald enjoyed playing and recording music with various bands, including Eye of Nix, Michael Ray and the Plastic Sheets, Euphondism, and Brigham.
