Gilbert Byron Wallgren, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather
Passed away March 25, 2024.
Born August 12, 1933 in Midvale, Utah to Elof A. and Alice Jones Wallgren.
Veteran of the Korean War serving in the Navy for 4 years and the Naval reserves for an additional 4 years.
He married Lois LaRae Wheeler June 14, 1956
Worked for Utah Power and Light 34 years rising to the position of sub-station foreman.
He loved everything about the outdoors, hunting and especially fishing.
He was a kind, gentle person that was loved by many.
Survived by daughter Lynda Bronson (Steve) and son Cliff Wallgren (Sandy) and 5 grandchildren that were the apple of his eye.
Preceded in death by his wife LaRae, parents, and brothers LaVar, Lynn and Marvin.
