Obituary
Our dear and lovely family member, Gini Sue Natter, has been taken home to be with her mama, Sadie Natter. Gini is a beloved sister, daughter, aunt, cousin, and friend.
She came into this world on April 21, 1968, no. 7 of 8 children! She was adored by her siblings as she pirouetted into our hearts with dance, hugs, and songs. Always showing her sweet and nurturing nature.
She attended East High School and then went to school to become a dental assistant. She was amazing and her dentists loved her! She eventually became a surgical assistant to an oral surgeon. She enjoyed the craft and was heartbroken when her employer, Clayton R Walker DDS. MD, PC. retired and she could no longer work with him. In her earlier young adult years, she also served as a bartender and even delivered pizza!
Gini enjoyed the outdoors and would go camping whenever she could get away, sometimes only with her dog! Many times she was with her long time companion, Bob, with dog in tow, and fishing lines in the water. Also any picnic in any canyon was wonderful. Gini was good at loving life!
She enjoyed singing in her local church choir and during the covid shutdown, organized a sing-out with friends at Christmas time. They went up close to city creek canyon where they could sing carols together and still stay apart!
She was happy being around her family and cooking for them; always looking for fun recipes to try. Her tender heart had her cooking Thanksgiving dinner for others who had no family to celebrate with. She was a person to whom others gravitated for warmth and love. She was able to allow her generous heart to give love to those who need it, and was gentle in any correction she might need to give. She had lots of fun with the little nieces, letting them put on make-up and doing their hair.
Gini is survived by many heartbroken and loving family members. Father: Darrell Natter. Sisters: Ruth Anne Mallery, Debbie Cotton, Rebekah Housekeeper, and Phoebe Greene. Brothers: Con Natter, Heber Natter, and Beorn Natter. Many nieces and nephews and aunts and an uncle and even more cousins!
Gini Sue will be honored by her family at a private memorial service.
Her sentiments would be: “Everyone be Happy!"
Tributes
It's hard to believe such a vibrant person can be gone. My heart is with each of you as you navigate this loss. Gini will be greatly missed!
My love,
Loro
I was one of those little nieces hanging out in auntie Gini’s room. She was always welcoming and seemed so cool. She was fun to be around and so loving. I am so grateful for the plan of happiness that will bring her home to her Heavenly Father and her waiting mom, my grandma, whom I also miss! So much love for these ladies!
All I see is her smile. She smiled so big her eyes remained open only so you could see them sparkle! Of course, it could not ALWAYS be the case, but she always seemed so, so happy! It made you happy just to see her. Happy, happy Gini. I'm so sad I can't hear her laughter--at least not for a little while.
I first knew Gini, as she worked on my teeth at the Dentist. She was so cheerful and skilled that it was easy and comfortable.
I later sang with her in our Church Choir. She had a beautiful soprano voice and always brought joy and laughter with her. She was a great help to our choir leader and attended faithfully. I love her and last saw her getting into her car to run somewhere. She took time to say hello and visit, even though I knew she was on her way. l will miss her smile and joyful ways. So sorry that she left us, but know she is elsewhere bringing good cheer to all she meets there and also enjoying her dear Mom, Sadie.
Jo Lloyd, a grateful friend
