Glen R. Johnson died peacefully at home in Riverton, Utah, on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at the age of 48.
Glen is survived by his wife, Laura A. Johnson, daughter Katie D. Johnson, golden retriever Jasmine, mother Ann Houser Johnson Sexton, and brothers Jeff Johnson, Jim Johnson, and Ben Johnson.
Glen was preceded in death by his father Alva Johnson, his brother Wade Johnson, and his dogs Brinley, Ellie and Nala.
Glen was born on December 30, 1975, in Anderson, Indiana. He graduated from Madison Heights High School in 1994 and received his associate’s degree from Salt Lake Community College. Glen was working for Salt Lake Community College as the Microscopy Lab Director.
Glen was an extremely dedicated father and husband. He never missed one of his daughter’s recitals, plays, concerts or competitions.
Glen was passionate about the family’s golden retrievers, golf, and the Minnesota Vikings football team. He played golf as much as he could and would try to never miss a Vikings game on TV.
The family would like to thank everyone who provided assistance, care, and love during their time of need.
