Gordon E. Cowan III, born February 13, 1980, passed away on March 31, 2026.
Gordon graduated from Dixie High School in St. George, Utah, in 1998. He later served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Kansas City, Missouri.
Gordon was a talented artist and cartoonist. He enjoyed drawing caricatures for his friends and family to make them laugh and smile.
In 2001, Gordon married Andrea Fowler (DeGooyer). They later divorced but remained dedicated to raising their two sons, Hunter and Corbin.
Gordon loved being a dad and spent as much time as he could with his boys. He enjoyed thrifting, especially with Hunter, and fishing with Corbin. He also made an effort to attend his youngest son’s basketball games whenever he could. He was looking forward to attending Hunter’s Navy graduation and supported him along the way.
His sons were the most important part of his life, and he cared deeply about them.

He is survived by his sons, Hunter and Corbin, father Gordon and Step-Mother, Betsy, Mother Sherry (Dale) Hughes, brothers Troy(Rachel) Hendrickson, Mike( Shelly) Hendrickson, Louie(Laura) Mirabile, sister Christy (Rick)Shorter and step-sister Michelle Moreland. He was preceded in death by sister Shanna Orr.
Services to celebrate Gordon's life will be held at a later date.

Gordon was a wonderful son in law for many years. He was a great person ! His passing such a shock. We always loved him. Such a fun personality! He was the added joy to our lives. He was even there for us and in our time of need. ❤️ rest in peace. Your boys will always be a tribute to you.
