Gordon Ralph Hunt, 65, of Salt Lake City, Utah, passed away peacefully at his home on January 15, 2024. He was born on July 29, 1958, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Lorin Ralph and Colleen Jackson Hunt.

Gordon was an intelligent and witty individual who had a keen eye for perfection. He had a successful career as a Real Estate Agent at Chapman Richards & Associates. Since 2006, he had been a top-tier realtor, utilizing his extensive business experience in sales, marketing, and advertising.
In his youth, he enjoyed scouting and baseball. As he grew older, he developed a passion for golfing and referred to his outdoor adventures as "luxury car camping." He loved fly fishing, hiking, snowshoeing, and exploring hoodoos in Southern Utah. He also took pride in working on his yard and beautifying his home, showcasing his handyman skills.

He spent many years living in and enjoying life in San Diego, calling himself the “So Cal Bro.” He loved the sun, ocean and beach and learned some Spanish along the way .

When he returned to Utah, he took in a stray cat and named her "Kitty Cat”. She found a caring home with Gordon and became the light of his life.

Gordon is survived by his sisters, Lori (Brent) Cox and Lisa D. Hunt, as well as aunts, uncle, niece, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, Lorin Ralph and Colleen Jackson Hunt.

A visitation for friends and family will be held from 11 am to 12pm, followed by graveside services at Larkin Sunset Gardens, located at 1950 East 10600 South, Sandy, Utah. It will be held Thursday, February 1, 2024.

Gordon will be deeply missed by his family. His memory will forever be cherished.

I am sorry for our loss. We don't have many memories with Mr.Gordon. We knew him as a home buyer from his childhood house. I can't believe that we just met him 3 months ago. He was still a strong, healthy, positive man. I hope Mr.Gordon is resting in piece. We are taking care well your childhood house, Mr.Gordon.
